Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Filmlume ("Filmlume", "we") for using filmlume.com. By creating an account you accept them.
1. The service
Filmlume makes images and short videos from what you write and the images you upload, using AI models. Results are generated automatically and can be imperfect or unexpected; check them before you use them.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account. One person per account.
3. Credits and payment
- You pay with prepaid credits, in US dollars. Each run shows its price before you start it and takes exactly that price.
- If a run fails, its credits are returned automatically.
- Credits don't expire, can't be transferred to another account, and can't be exchanged for cash, except as the refund policy says.
- Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the reseller (merchant of record) and adds sales tax or VAT where required. Its terms apply to the payment.
- Prices for new runs can change; a run's price is fixed once you start it.
4. What you may make
You must follow the content policy. In short: nothing sexual, nothing that pretends to be a real person without their consent, nothing illegal, harmful or infringing. We may refuse a request, remove content and suspend accounts that break it, without refunding credits used for those runs.
5. Your content
- You keep the rights you have in your prompts and uploads, and you confirm you have the right to use them (including the consent of anyone shown in a photo you upload).
- As between you and us, you own the images and videos you generate and may use them, commercially too, subject to these terms and the law. Because they are made by AI, others may get similar results, and some places may not give AI output copyright protection.
- You let us store, process and show your content to run the service for you, and to keep it safe (for example, to check for abuse). We don't use your uploads or results to promote Filmlume without asking you.
6. Availability
We try to keep Filmlume running and your library available, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that files are kept forever. Download what you want to keep.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
8. Ending
You can stop using Filmlume and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. Unused credits from purchases are refunded when we end an account for reasons other than a breach.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Filmlume’s operator is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there. Before any formal dispute, please write to us: most problems are solved by email.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; we'll tell you of important changes by email or in the app before they apply. Write to support@filmlume.com or filmlumesupport@gmail.com, or use the contact page.
