01Getting started
Press New generation, pick what to make, describe it in plain words and choose a quality. Before anything is made you see the price and roughly how long it will take. Press generate and follow the progress; the result lands in your library.
- Choose Image, Quick video or Story video.
- Describe what you want. Be concrete: who, where, what happens, the mood.
- Pick a quality, a frame shape and, for video, a length and sound.
- Pick a speed card (Saver, Balanced or Fast) and generate.
02Images
One picture from one description, ready in seconds. Choose a frame shape (square, wide, tall) to match where it will be used. Good prompts name the subject, the setting, the light and the style: “a red fox in fresh snow at dawn, soft light, shallow depth of field”.
03Quick video
A single continuous shot. Start from a photo you upload or an image described in words, then say how it should move: “the boat rocks gently as ripples spread”. Quick videos are up to a minute long and are the fastest way to bring a still to life.
Sound for a quick video can be left to the AI, or set to background sound, a voice-over, or a lip-synced line.
04Story videos
A short film of several scenes, from 20 seconds up to 10 minutes. Write the whole story; it is split into scenes of 5 or 10 seconds, each drawn and filmed, then joined with sound.
Review the plan first
With Review the plan before generating switched on (it is on for longer stories and whenever characters speak), you first get the plan: every scene, what is said in it and by whom, and what is heard. You can rewrite lines, change the background sound, switch a line between the narrator and a character, or remove a scene. The price updates as you edit. Nothing is filmed until you press Generate this video.
While it renders
The result page shows each stage (planning, drawing the scenes, filming, adding sound) and counts the scenes as they finish. Long stories take a while; you can leave the page and come back.
05Cast and @mentions
In a Story video you can add up to four photos to the Cast: a person, a pet or a product that should look the same in every scene. Give each a name and, for people, a gender (used to pick their voice).
In your story, type @ and pick a name from the list. A name that is attached turns blue; an @name that matches nobody is underlined, so a typo is easy to spot. Cast members you don’t mention may still appear where the story needs them.
Characters you don’t upload are designed once from the story and kept the same across scenes.
Clear, front-facing photos with good light give the most faithful results.
06Sound and voices
A Story video can be muted or have sound. With sound, every scene gets the background sounds of its place, and you choose who speaks:
- No one
- Only the sounds of each place, such as rain, a street or a kitchen.
- Narrator
- A storyteller’s voice over the pictures, with a line in the scenes where it helps.
- Characters
- No narrator: your cast speaks on camera, with their lips moving to the words, each in their own voice.
- Narrator + characters
- The narrator tells the story and characters speak on camera where it fits.
Scenes where a character speaks are filmed as close-ups facing the camera, so the lips can be matched, and cost a little more. If a face can’t be found in a scene, the line is still spoken in that character’s voice, without the lip movement, and the result page says so.
Lines are written to fit their scene: about two words per second. Background sound is kept lower while someone speaks, so voices stay clear. Background music isn’t added yet.
07Quality and speed
- Economy · 480p
- Lowest price, good for drafts and social posts.
- HD · 720p
- Sharper detail for most finished pieces.
- Cinematic · 1080p
- The highest detail, at a higher price.
For each quality you get up to three speed cards. Saver is the lowest price, Fast is the shortest wait, and Balanced appears when there is a clear middle option. The quality is the same on every card; only price and waiting time differ.
08Prices
The price is shown before you generate and is fixed when you press the button: you pay what you were shown, even if the run takes longer. It depends on the type, the length, the quality, the sound and the speed you pick. A reviewed story is priced from its exact plan. You pay with credits: the price is taken when you press Generate, and if a run fails the credits come back. Your balance is in the side bar; the Credits page lists every change. Planning a story is free.
09Library, downloads and deleting
Everything you make is in your library, newest first. Filter by videos or images, or sort oldest first. Hover a video to preview it.
Download saves the file to your device. Delete removes it from your library for good (you are asked once to confirm).
10Questions
- Why is my story a little shorter or longer than I asked?
- Scenes are 5 or 10 seconds long, so the total is rounded to fit the story’s scenes.
- A character’s lips didn’t move in one scene.
- That scene had no clear face to match, so the line was spoken in the character’s voice without lip movement. Ask for the character to face the camera in that scene, or upload a clearer photo.
- Can I change the plan after generating?
- Not yet. Review the plan first; once a video is generated, make a new one with your changes.
- What happens if something fails?
- The result page explains what went wrong. Scenes that already finished are kept while the rest are retried.
- Are deleted items recoverable?
- No. Download anything you want to keep first.
