Privacy policy
This policy explains what Filmlume collects when you use Filmlume, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email and a scrambled (hashed) password. We never see or store your password itself.
- What you make: your prompts, the images you upload (cast photos, starting images) and the images and videos generated for you.
- Credits: your balance and its history. Card and bank details go to our payment provider, never to us.
- Security data: the IP address and browser of each request that starts a run, to prevent abuse and fraud.
Why
- To run the service you asked for: generating, storing and showing your results (contract).
- To take payment and keep tax records (legal obligation).
- To keep Filmlume safe and enforce the content policy (legitimate interest).
We don't sell your data and don't use it for advertising. We don't train AI models on your uploads or results.
Who processes it for us
Cloud hosting and storage providers; AI model and GPU providers that generate your images, video and sound (they receive your prompt and the images needed for that run); and Dodo Payments for payments and tax. Some of them are in other countries, including the United States; where needed they are bound by standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Your account, library and saved images: until you delete them or your account. Credit and payment records: as long as tax law requires. Security logs: up to 12 months.
Your rights
You can see, download, correct and delete your data, object to some uses and complain to your data-protection authority. Email support@filmlume.com and we'll reply within 30 days.

It is off until you press Accept on the banner, IP addresses are shortened, and advertising features are switched off. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
