Content policy

Filmlume is for original images and films. These rules protect real people and keep the service safe. Breaking them can get a request refused, content removed and your account closed.

Not allowed

• Sexual content of any kind, including nudity and suggestive content. Anything sexual involving minors is reported to the authorities.
• Real people without consent. Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have agreed to appear. No public figures, celebrities or politicians.
• Deepfakes and impersonation: making it look like a real person said or did something, or passing generated video off as real footage to mislead (fake news, fake evidence, scams).
• Harassment, bullying, threats, hate against people for who they are, or content that glorifies violence or self-harm.
• Illegal activity, weapons instructions, or anything that breaks the law where you or the viewer are.
• Content that copies someone else's work, brand or character in a way that infringes their rights.
• Spam, or trying to get around these rules or the limits of the service.

Good to know

• Voices are chosen from our own library of synthetic voices; Filmlume doesn't clone anyone's voice.
• If you share what you make, say that it was made with AI where it could be mistaken for real footage.
